Jill Suzanne Galligan

Jill Suzanne Galligan age 52 passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sylvania on June 20th 2024. Jill was born in Toledo, Ohio to Greg and Joyce (Facemyre) Gregory on February 24th 1972.
She was a 1990 graduate of Swanton High School, a 1994 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelors of nursing, and in 2012 she graduated with her masters degree. She worked as a registered nurse at Toledo Promedica Hospital for 23 years.
Jill married Timothy Galligan in 2005 and settled in Sylvania, Ohio. On December 9th 2009, Jill gave birth to Phoebe Joy Galligan. Jill’s most valued moments in life were spent surrounded by family, but more specifically, with her daughter who she adored so endlessly. Phoebe was Jill’s rainbow baby, and Jill made sure to make everyone around her aware that Phoebe was the light of her world. Jill will be remembered by Phoebe as her biggest inspiration. In her own words, her mother was the most loving, courageous, kind, humorous, and bold person that she has ever known. She was loved by many and always leaving a smile on others faces. Jill enjoyed days at her families lake house surrounded by love and laughter. The love Jill had for her family was unmatched. She will be remembered by her family for having a big heart, she loved family and friend get together's and would always bring above and beyond dishes and beverages to share. She will be missed terribly.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Tim; daughter, Phoebe; parents, Greg and Joyce; sisters, Brandy (Seth) and Dawn; nieces, Elizabeth and Aubrey; nephew, Andrew; brother-in-law, Patrick (Jeanette), Dennis (Vicki); sister-in-law, Kathleen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Jane and Donna and her grandfathers, Doil and Richard.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:00 am. Following the service, Jill will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
