John Lynn Nimigean, age 71, of West Toledo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Toledo Hospital's Intensive Care Unit. He was born on January 30, 1953 to John J. and Lillian (Ptaszynski) Nimigean. His adventurous, fun-loving nature led him to the Tampa, Florida area where he lived and enjoyed life for many years before returning to Toledo, Ohio in 1993.
Even though he had many health issues after being injured in a car accident, he still was able to enjoy and appreciate many good years of boating and fishing on Lake Erie.
John is survived by his daughter, Alexa Bailey; grandchildren, Lucca and Lilah; sister, Beverly Modrowski; brothers, Dennis and Gregory Nimigean; good friend, Mark Noller; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian; nephew, Craig Modrowski; sister-in-law, Sherrie Ward Nimigean; and brother-in-law, Charles Modrowski.
There will be no visitation for John. He will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Sanctuary of Memories Mausoleum.
