Russell Lytle was born November 8, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Waistol Burrell Lytle and Lucille Annie Henderson. He departed this life Friday March 8, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Sylvania Ebeid Hospice Center at the age of 84.
Russell graduated from Scott High School in 1958 and joined the army in December of 1959.
He retired in 2006 from The Schroeder Company after 25 plus years.
He was preceded in death by his Father Waistol Lytle, Mother Lucille Lytle, Brother Findley Lytle and his Sister Mary L. Sutton. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Shelley Lytle-Reese (Johnny), Shannon Lytle (Lisa), Son Stewart Lytle, daughter Rushelle Ewing, special nieces Cory Patterson (Terry) and Kristen Lytle. Special Nephew James Sutton (Jeneen), Special cousin Doris Greer. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Special Thanks to the nurses and doctors at UTMC, the staff at Lutheran Wolf Creek and ParkCliffe Memory Care.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. from 12:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
Russ will be laid to rest at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
