Louise Ann Sherman, age 75, of Toledo, passed away February 28, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Louise was born October 28, 1948 in Ionia, Michigan to Charlie and Alice (Jones) Reese.
Louise isn't the name you think of when you think of this wonderful woman. If you knew her and were apart of her life you called her Granny. She was always there to help when she could. I'll miss our all-day phone conversations and she will be with me every time I knit or crochet something cause she's the one that taught me how. Lil Lj says he will always remember the smile on her face when she'd give him toys she got him and her telling him she loved him. Her Sister Sandy remembers the trips they'd take together and how much fun they'd have. A special one was of going to Missouri to see her son Matthew graduate from basic training in the army and how much they laughed and enjoyed there time with him at dinner and the hotel. It was a remarkable time for them all. Her Grandson will never forget the night that he and his friend Chris were at this house and they gave granny her first and only tattoo. They were surprised she wanted one and glad they were the ones she asked to do it.
Granny loved to collect birds, butterflies and faces; she enjoyed playing cards and games with her granddaughters and great grandkids, some of her favorites were skip-bo and phase 10. She loved going the county fair's and watching the monster truck show. She loved getting to see Lj Race, it was something she really wanted to see before she left this world. She loved watching Disney movies and cartoons with her great grandkids and watching them grow up. One of her favorite things was watching wrestling with her grandkids, one of her favorite's was the gobbly gooker at a thanksgiving Survivor series. She was sad she never got to meet two of her great grandsons, Hunter and baby Griffes; she was looking forward to seeing them both. Granny was loving and caring to us all. We all love you and you'll always be in our hearts, we have our memories of all the things we got to do with you. You are leaving a lot of loved ones behind. Until we see you again know we all love you and will miss you more than words can say.
Louise is survived by her Daughter Robin Mullins, Grandchildren Lawrence Mullins, Emil Mullins IV, Crystal Griffes, and Tiffany Wihhoven; great-grandchildren, Lawrence, Amelia, Emily, Hunter, Bryanna, Angela, Jaxson, Baby Griffes, Chance, Hope and Faith; sisters; Sandy Reese, Linda Jackson and Bonnie Fillwock; and many other nieces, nephews, and a host of extend family and friends.
