Nancy Lu Fletcher

Nancy Lu Fletcher, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully February 6, 2024, in the comfort of her home. Nancy was born April 4, 1939, in Monroe, Michigan, to the late Elmer and Elsie (Grauf) Ruettinger.

Nancy graduated from Monroe High School in 1957. She worked as a lab tech for Westgate Lab for 25 years and then Flower Hospital, where she retired.

A woman of faith, Nancy was an active member of CrossPoint Community Church in Toledo, where she was involved in the church's youth group.

Nancy enjoyed traveling; she and her husband camped in 48 states and traveled to Europe several times where they would explore and see new areas where they haven't gone before. She was very active, whether it was getting together with a group of friends or being involved in a dance studio, Mini Motions. Nancy's contagious smile and love will forever be missed by those who knew her. This isn't goodbye, but we will see you again!

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband of 50 years, George Fletcher; son, Michael (Jean) Rodenbeck; daughter, Michelle (Steve) Wilson; step-son, George (Lori) Fletcher; step-daughter, Gail (Gary Cook) Fletcher; grandchildren, Chad (Rachel) Fletcher, Eric (Krista) Fletcher, Timothy (Dana) Rodenbeck, Johnathan (Emily) Rodenbeck, Matthew (Kristen) Rodenbeck, Julia (Jon Passmore) Rodenbeck, Elizabeth Rodenbeck, Paul Bourlet, Grey Bourlet, and Joel Bourlet; great grandchildren, Lilith Fletcher, Amelia Fletcher, Avery Fletcher, Weston Rodenbeck, Bennett Rodenbeck, and Calvin Rodenbeck; and sister-in-law, Toni Reuttinger.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters, Jan Reuttinger and Ann (Dick) Stanifer; and a brother, Jim Reuttinger.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Nancy's funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home.
