John V. Hoskins

John V. Hoskins of Maumee, Ohio passed away on January 21, 2024 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on November 27, 1949 to Owen and Mabel Hoskins. John was a self-employed contractor most of his life.

John enjoyed fishing, camping, playing lottery, watching westerns, horseshoes, animals and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his brother, Owen (Carla) Hoskins; grandsons, Adam and Colin Grimes; step-daughter, Carolyn and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Hoskins; nephews, Michael Esparza Jr. and Robert Goben Jr.; sisters, Shirley, Margaret and brother, Ronald.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
