Lydia Helen Eck

Lydia Helen Eck, age 85, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 25, 1938, to William and Frances (Van Dusen) Bahls. In her life, Lydia was employed as a medical secretary and transcriptionist. She enjoyed boating, vacationing in Florida, and spending time with family and friends. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed.

Lydia is survived by her husband, James; children, Marcia and Jim Jr. (Dee); granddaughter, Jenalle (Thomas); and brother, Carl. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary Lou, Dorothy, and Ann.

The family will receive guests on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300), 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo.
