Bonnie Jean Paulun age 78, passed away on December 28, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo on March 10, 1945 to Harvey and Virginia (Curtis) Schmieder.
Bonnie graduated from Libbey High School and was employed at Food Town for 16 years. She will be remembered as being spunky and vibrant. Bonnie loved to sing, fish, and paint ceramics.
Surviving are her children, Rejeana (Al) Oberle. Bill (Susan), Elvis (Kelly) and Scott Paulun. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; sisters, Julie, Joyce, Doll and a brother, Harvey.
Friends and family will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Rd., Toledo on Tuesday January 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
