Paul J. Barboza

Paul John Barboza, age 55, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at home. He was born on June 8, 1968 to Raul and Sharon (Rozek) Barboza in Toledo. Paul graduated in 1986 from Central Catholic High School. He worked for USPS as a mail carrier for over 25 years. Paul loved riding his Harley when he could. He was an avid reader and collected comic books. Paul also liked going to comic-con. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren who called him "Papa". Paul's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raul Barboza. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Logan (Katie) Barboza and Maddison (James Morgan) Barboza; mother, Sharon Barboza; grandchildren, Jonathan and Lilliana; sisters, Kim (Tommy) Broyles and Tracie (James) Oliver; loving companion, Judy Morse; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
