Kimberly G. Drake

Kimberly G. "Kim" Drake, age 67, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at Sunset Village. She was born on July 2, 1956 to Charles and Fern Ward in Columbus, Ohio. Kim was a homemaker throughout her life and loved taking care of her family and others. She loved cooking, gardening and her dogs. Kim enjoyed her crime TV and investigative dramas. She had a heart of gold and her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sheila Krementz and Charles Ward Jr. Left to cherish Kim's memory are her loving son, Jason (Donna) Skeels; grandchildren, Brandon (Lauren), Isaiah, Keyonna and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brynlee, Hensley, Braxton, Maverick, and Oden; sister, Terri (Bob) Baumgartner; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
