Patsy A. Yelverton

Patsy Ann Yelverton, age 68, of Lambertville, Michigan was called to her Heavenly home with her Lord on October 19, 2023. She was born on November 8, 1954 in Toledo, the daughter of Louis and Beverly (Stokes) Ostrander. After graduating from Whitney Vocational High School, Pat went on to work various jobs until she found her home as a paraprofessional at Toledo Public Schools, retiring in 2020. Patsy married the love of her life, Joe, on May 29, 1973, together they enjoyed raising their family. She was a faithful member of Shelton Park Church of God in Temperance since 1978, where she was a pillar of the church, assisting with upkeep, decorating, and part of the Women's Ministry. Pat enjoyed crafting, crocheting, quilting, and gardening. Pat's family and her faith in the Lord shaped her life, she was selfless when it came to them, and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was the shining light in her family, and her love will be missed beyond words.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Louis Ostrander; son, Joseph L. Yelverton; granddaughter, Brittany Yelverton; brother, Robert Ostrander; in-laws, Joseph and Eleanor Yelverton, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Joseph Yelverton, Jr; children, Jeanie (Jay) Swisher and Josh Yelverton; grandchildren, Sammi, Caleb (Alexis), Sean, Jailin, Reagan, Madison, Jayce, and Kyleigh; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Charlie, and Willow. Also surviving are 6 siblings and their spouses; 2 sisters-in-law and their spouses; special friends, Pastor Scott and Kim Isham; and other family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
