Donna J. Parker

Donna Jean Parker, age 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by love, on October 17, 2023. She was born February 14, 1941, in Monroe County, Michigan, to the late Floyd and Luella (Henderson) Welch.

Donna graduated from Ida High School, class of 1958. She was an avid member of Gateway Campground for 39 years and enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre. Donna loved watching the Hallmark Channel. She loved how every show and movie ended with a happy ending. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Donnas smile and love will forever be missed by those who knew her. This isn't goodbye, but we will see you again!

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Blaine Parker, whom she married on November 23, 1959; children, Penny Sue Stringer and Jason Westly Parker (Lena Schmidt); grandchildren, Danielle Brigid Stringer and Liam Parker Stringer; sister, Deborah Singer. Donna was a loving sister-in-law and Aunt to many.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Lynn Parker; son-in-law, Daniel Stringer; and siblings, John, JoAnn, Lillian, Rosemary, Henley, William, Charles, and John.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 pm.
