Dean B. Davenport

Dean B. Davenport, age 65, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Otterbein of Perrysburg. He was born on January 7, 1958 to Melvin and Bernice (Parrish) Davenport in Toledo. Dean graduated in 1976 from Whitmer High School. He was an avid outdoorsman; loving fishing, boating, hunting, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and riding ATV's. Dean was a fan of the Detroit Tigers, enjoying games when he could. He loved his dog Buddy and spending time with his family. Dean's spirit and caring nature will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Davenport. Left to cherish Dean's memory are his brothers, William (Cee) Davenport, Gary (Peggy) Davenport and Gene (Kim) Davenport; sister-in-law, Grace Davenport; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
