Mary E. Hunter

Mary E. Hunter, age 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away from complications due to dementia on September 19, 2023. Mary was born on March 2, 1943 to Melvin and Evelyn (Berndt) Fowler in Toledo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hunter, who passed exactly 18 years before her, and her first grandchild, Avee Hunter. Mary is survived by her two sons, Larry (Amy) Hunter and Richard Hunter. Mary's son Larry, made her a grandmother to three, Joanne Carter, Mary Hunter and Andrew Hunter. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Parker Hunter, Kyrin Carter, Kiyla Carter and Adonis Carter. Mary loved her cats Leo, Princess, Bobo, and Skeeter.

A Celebration of Mary's Life will begin at 1:00 pm on November 17, 2023 at Toledo Memorial Park's Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, where inurnment will immediately follow. Memorial flowers may be sent directly to the cemetery, and donations in Mary's memory may be directed to her family.
