Bridget M. "Buffie" Cappelletty, age 56, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully Saturday, October 7, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 17, 1966 to Paul and Bonita (Mierzwiak) Cappelletty in Toledo. Buffie graduated from Sylvania Southview High School majoring in horticulture. She had a passion for helping others, especially animals. Buffie put her whole heart into everything she did; whether it be working alongside her brother and sister-in-law, helping her mom, her children, her nephews, or just cleaning her own home and others, Buffie gave her all to everyone all the time. She was always putting others before herself even in her darkest days.
Buffie loved butterflies, music and attending any concert she could, especially her nephew's and brother's. She enjoyed going to the beach, swimming and laying in the sun. Buffie liked shopping A LOT! Buffie's entire family was her life, most importantly her two children; they were her pride and joy. To know Buffie was to love Buffie as she never met a stranger.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Ruby Starr; her step-dad, Ed Krenk; and beloved Oma and Opa, Henrietta (Richard) Mierzwiak-Tenney. Left to cherish Buffie's memory are her husband, Matthew Kendall; her loving children, Maegan (Taylor) Lahti and J.J. (Nataly Mena) Vogel; devoted mother, Bonnie Krenk; brothers, Johnny (Andrea) Cappelletty and J.D. (Christah) Krenk; sister, Vicki (Joe) Scribner; lifelong best friend, Shelly (Roger) Weckerlin; nephews and nieces, J.P. "Rook" Cappelletty; Sammi (Matias) Hidalgo; Taylor, Alexxa, Chance and Cole Cappelletty; Gabe and Wyatt Anteau and Legend Krenk; great-nephew, Leo Hidalgo; cherished pets, Kaiser and Gus Gus; and many other family members and dear friends.
