Timothy F. Rice

Timothy F. Rice, age 79, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. The son of Frank and Doreen, he was born May 18, 1944 in Toledo. He attended Macomber High School. He married Sharon on January 28, 1967. Tim worked for Foodtown in the warehouse until his retirement. He enjoyed collecting knives and swords and was an avid fan and collector of remote-control cars and boats. The light of his life was his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Valerie (Mark) Miller, Dawn (Chuck) Carnes; grandchildren, Chuckie Carnes, Cameron Carnes, Copper Carnes and Cocoa Miller; niece, Robyn (Joe) Myers Axe; nephews, Jim, Scott and Todd (Martin) Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents; brother Michael and sister, Dorthea.
There will be no visitation and services will be private.
