Loretta Evans, age 87, of Toledo, OH passed away February 24, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital. Loretta was born August 25, 1935 in Kentwood, LA to Jesse and Daisy (Taylor) Collins.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was also preceded in death by her husband, John Evans; and sister, Bernice Burton. She is survived by her brother, William (Estelle) Collins; daughter, Elfriede Evans; grandsons, Michael (Jodie) Evans and Torey Evans; great-grandchildren, Michael Evans, Jr., Madison Evans and Morgan Evans; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests, Monday, March 6, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
