Douglas Gene Blesing

Douglas "Doug" Gene Blesing, age 84, of Luna Pier, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by love. Doug was born June 10, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late John and Marian (Bothe) Blesing.
Doug graduated from DeVilbiss High School, class of 1956. He continued his education at the Art Institute of Chicago. He worked as a payroll manager for Pilkington and was part owner for Meadows Florist for 45 years. Doug will forever be missed by all who knew him. This isn't goodbye, it's see you again…
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his two brothers, Dave (Sue) Blesing and Don (Jan) Blesing; and his friend of many years, Terry Long.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Richard Blesing.
A Celebration of Doug's Life will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at his home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doug's name to a charity of your choice.
