Barbra E. Johnson

Barbra E. "Barb" Johnson, age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at home with loving family by her side. She was born on May 2, 1951 to Russell and Norma (Hinebaugh) Glaze in Toledo. Barb was a graduate of Maumee High School. She retired from Food Town grocery store on Navarre Ave. as the Produce Manager after 30 years of dedicated service. Barb enjoyed going to church and loved the Lord. She could always be found helping others and had a heart of gold. Barb loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Johnson; in-laws, Dale and Nola Johnson; sisters, Marsha Dumbkowski and Peggy Glaze; and brother-in-law, Jeff Johnson. Left to cherish Barb's memory are her loving children, Joel (Kim) Johnson, Jobe Johnson and Nikki (Tom) Neiswender; grandchildren, Taylor (Joe), Hunter (Mary), Russell, Alayna, Madison, Kaily, Ryan, and Carly; great-grandchildren, Kairi, Lilly, Riley, Paisley, Wyatt, and Lily; siblings, Cheri (John) Posadny, Jean Brown, Gail (Ron) Keel, Cindy (Kevin) Keel, Vicki (Dennis) Walentowski, Jim Glaze, and Dawn (Mike) Pawlicki; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Ken) Robinson and Netter Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services at this time per Barb's wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
