Keith L. Swihart, passed away peacefully January 8, 2023 from complications of Parkinson's at the age of 80.
Keith was born December 30, 1942 in Fostoria, OH to Shell and Lucille (Weber) Swihart. He attended Libbey High School before landing a job at Jeep where he eventually retired after 38 years.
He married the love of his life, Bernadette (Malczewski), and celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this past April. Keith lived a full life, enjoyed fishing, going to the casino or spending time with grandkids, family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette (Malczewski); his children, Gregory, Timothy and Amanda (Paul) Czerniakowski; grandchildren, William, Adam, Zachary Czerniakowski; brothers, Lyle and Fred Swihart and sister, Laverne Bussdieker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Shell and son, Zachary.
The family will receive guests Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2255 Central Grove, Toledo, OH (Please meet directly at Church). Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
