Michael Stephen Lewandowski, age 68, of Toledo, passed away December 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by so much love. Michael was born on April 7, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Stephen and Kathleen (Zimniczak) Lewandowski.
Michael graduated from Macomber High School. He worked at Jeep in Toledo, where he retired after many dedicated years. After retirement, he worked at the Huntington Center. Michael was a proud member of the UAW in Toledo and Old News Boys. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers, playing cards with his family, such as Euchre and Clean Foot Dirty Foot, and play hillbilly horseshoes. A sports fan, he loved watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Known as a jokester with a quick wit, he enjoyed making people laugh. Michael was a people person and would help anyone in need; he wouldn't say a bad thing about anyone. His love, smile, and sense of humor will forever be missed. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cris Lewandowski, whom he married on May 5, 2013; children, Laura (Mark) Niedzwiecki and Doug (Robbyn) Lewandowski; grandchildren, Austin and Carley; siblings, Nancy (John) Stevenson, Elaine (Ed) Verkin, and Dan (Pam) Lewandowski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by his son, David Lewandowski; and two brothers, Ronald and Steven Lewandowski.
