Jacqueline Irene Fritz

Jacqueline Irene (Springs) Fritz, age 60, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2022 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born on November 23, 1961 to Mrs. Mattie Bell and Elmer Springs.

Jackie grew up on Melrose Ave., attended Fulton Elementary School and was a 1980 graduate of Jesup W. Scott High School. She later married her soul mate, Jon Fritz, in 1993. She was employed for many years at the Hunts Factory.

Jackie was always on the go and tirelessly helping others. She enjoyed spending time in Florida at beaches, listening to music and watching "The Simpsons". But her most joy was loving on her grandchildren and the large gatherings with family and friends who will forever remember her hearty laughter and beautiful smile.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie and Elmer Springs, Sr.; brother, Joseph Springs; sister-in-law, Denise Fritz Mills; grandparents; and other loved ones.

Left to love and cherish her memory is her husband, Jon Fritz; son, Dominick Springs; daughter, Alexis (Craig) Fritz Hille; 7 grandchildren, Alayna Springs, Gabriella Thomas, DeAndre Springs, Callie Springs, Lucas Hille, Sofie Hille, and Logan Hille; brothers, Elmer (Hollie) Springs, Jr., Dennis (Jacqueline) Springs, Sr., Gary Springs, and David Springs; sisters, Mrs. Juana (Kenneth) Wade, and Mrs. Katherine (Rasche) Thomas-Sumpter; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Bruce) Fritz Kay, and Carol (James) Fritz Method; brother-in-law, Gary Mills; special friend, Kathi Cornett; childhood friends, Wille Ann Ware-Harbour, and Sheri Galloway. Jackie has many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends that she loved dearly.

The family will receive guests Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500) where Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery, Toledo.
