Thomas Eugene Belcher

Thomas Eugene "Tom" Belcher, age 76, of Toledo, passed away September 30, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Thomas was born March 3, 1946 in Toledo to John and Dorothy (Carr) Belcher.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force proudly serving his country before attending culinary school. Tom was a chef at Fairview Manor Nursing Center. He also worked for Courtyard by Marriott and Dillard's at Fallen Timbers. In his free time, Tom enjoyed fishing and spending time with his cats. He especially loved his trips to Walt Disney World.
Left to forever cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley Walch; mother, Dorothy Belcher; brothers, Michael Belcher, Jonathon (Roxann) Belcher, and Chad (Laura) Belcher; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, John Belcher, Jr.; sisters, Sheila Belcher-Moore and Stephanie Belcher; brother, Victor K. Belcher; and great-niece, Mariah Moore.
The family will receive guests Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Roth Cemetery, Monclova.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society in Tom's memory.
