Pamela Louise (Harmon) Stanton entered her heavenly home on September 13, 2022 after a sudden diagnosis of lymphoma. She was reunited with her parents, Jim and Helen Harmon, and her brother, Jim Harmon.
Pam was a graduate of Bowsher High School, and attended the Northwest Ohio Nurse's Training Center, class of 1969. Pam worked as an LPN for 53 years, until just a couple months ago. She loved her patients and co-workers and put her heart into each patient encounter. She was always looking for ways to help others.
Carrying on her tradition of love and faithfulness is her patient and devoted husband of 52 years, Jim Stanton; her children, Nicole & Aaron Coulter, Sharalee & Bryan Moore, and Jimmy & Rachel Stanton; and grandchildren, Robert & Aimee, Ketlove, Jacob, Sierra, Wisler, Andrew, Chloe, Mariah, Nathan, Lily, Sophie, Levi, and Luke. Pam embraced the opportunity to be a bonus Grami to anyone who needed one, especially the Jean Claude and Pierre families. She also enjoyed spending time with her brothers, Tim (Rosie) and Dave Harmon, and loved them dearly.
Pam was adventurous, brave, tenacious, loyal, hard-working and fueled by Columbian coffee! She was just crazy enough to do things for people without hesitation that others weren't willing to do. She would literally wade through water to help a stranger in need! In her last days she spoke only of others and impressed upon her family her wish for us to carry on her legacy of love.
Pam truly lived with the joy of the Lord and in her last moments she prayed and thanked God for being with her and guiding her throughout her life.
Pam insisted on no flowers, because flowers only wilt away but that same amount of money can make a lasting difference in someone's life. In honor of Pam, and her love for the people of Haiti, please consider a donation to Hut Outreach. Www.hutoutreach.org.
Please join us for a celebration of Pam's life on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2 pm at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Metropark, East entrance. A time of visitation and reflection with the family will be held from noon to 2 pm prior to the celebration service.
