Judy A. Meyers

Judy A. Meyers, age 83, of Toledo, OH passed away September 10, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born February 20, 1939 in Toledo to Raymond and Julia (Kerner) Westerman. Judy was a 1957 graduate of Notre Dame Academy and then went on to join the Medical Missionaries for 8 years. She started her nursing career in St. Louis, MO, then returned to Toledo at the age of 26 to continue her nursing career. She retired from The Toledo Hospital as a Lamaze Instructor, a career Judy truly embraced with passion. In retirement, Judy was an active volunteer with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister and Soup Kitchen cook. Judy's last few years were enjoyed at the Gardens of St. Francis where she was surrounded by many faith filled friends and staff. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, James Meyers; siblings, Tommy and Ronald Westerman and Jodi Cheney. She is survived by her children, Jimmy (MiHui) Meyers, Jeffrey (Laurie) Meyers and Julie Meyers; grandchildren, Jennifer, Diego, Dortez (Jhanel), Christian, Caden and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Kinley, MaKhai and Asherah; siblings, Sharon Christen and James (Pam) Westerman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr Street, Toledo where the family will receive guests Friday at 10:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Claver House, Little Flower Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Judy's memory.
