Laura Ann (Donovan) Frost, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Laura was born on October 26, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio.
Laura loved her family, Kroger family, Military family, Grace church family, many friends and any cat. She proudly served in the United States Army, retiring in 2006. Laura worked for The Kroger Company for 23 years, retiring in 2019. Laura spent her life taking care of others and will be truly missed by all those she knew.
Laura proudly served 27 years in the U.S. Army. She loved the Army, was a true patriot and attained the rank of SFC, Sergeant First Class. Truly fulfilling the role of a non-commissioned officer, she helped all soldiers; whether she was their leader or not and gained respect from them.
Laura was always seen with a smile and a cup of joe in her hand or on her desk. Not a day went by where you didn't see her asking or volunteering to help someone with a task. She performed administrative duties, helped cook, drove all types of military vehicles, enjoyed driving in convoys, but most of all she liked working with the military police.
While stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Laura performed administration duties, she took in a stray cat. Why would she change just because she was in Cuba? She named the cat Charlie. Needless to say, Laura filled out the necessary paperwork and Charlie came home with her when she left Cuba. Laura retired after her last deployment to Iraq.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving family; husband of 20 years, Alan Frost Jr.; sisters, Carla (Doug) Wooten and Paula (Jose) Cumpian; brothers, Corey (Christina) Morgan, Scott Morgan and Erick Morgan; special niece/goddaughter, Amanda Rybka; and many more nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Laura had a lifelong friend, Vicki Istler, and her very dear work friend, Dorothea Sosbe Frontine and many other great friends that she loved.
Laura is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Hahn Morgan; father, William Donovan; and a nephew, Corey Robert Morgan.
