George William Latshaw

George William Latshaw, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Columbus, Ohio to Marian and Charles Latshaw on August 10, 1943.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, he went onto a successful career in Human Resources and Labor Relations working at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio), Ohio Plate Glass (Toledo, Ohio), Brush Wellman (Elmore, Ohio) and Intersil Corporation (Findlay, Ohio) from which he retired in 2002. George was an active member at his church, Epworth United Methodist.
George served in the Army Reserves and shortly after married June Cooper in 1967, and shared their lives with three children. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary together on September 2, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, June Latshaw, his children Amy Boros (Greg), James Latshaw (Missy), and Charles Latshaw (Kelley), his sister, Carolyn Hiestand (Darryl), and his seven grandchildren Emily, Ben, Elena, Andy, Molly, Max, and Elise.
Family and friends may visit at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4855 Central Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43615, on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am, with Rev. Steve Swisher officiating. Private family burial will take place following the service.
The family wishes, in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of your choice.
