Sidney L. Warner passed away peacefully on May 1, 2022 at the age of 69. He was born on May 23, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Leonard V. Warner and Delphine Warner.
Sid was a 1970 graduate of St. John's High School. He worked for 28 years as a carpenter with the Local 1128, the first 7 of those years with his dad. He was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed the outdoors, loved traveling and trips to the casinos with Deborah, his former wife and love of his life.
Sid was preceded in death by his parents Leonard V. Warner and Delphine Warner and stepdaughter, Tara DeSantos.
Left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Deborah; daughters, Catherine Jo (Peanut) Lannen and Candace (Tim) Warner; sons, Chad Warner, Daniel Warner; stepson, Robert (Stacey) Yager; grandchildren, Cody (Natalie), Kalie, JT, Aalayah, Maranda, Brandon, Madison, MaKenzie, Marissa, Jordan, Bryan, Alyson, Papa's Buddy Alexiya, Papa's Bun Aaleenah; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandra (Jeff) Smolenski, Suzanne Warner Toelle and Sheila (Rod) Eitniear; countless nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin Friday, May 6, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
