Janet Ann Smith, age 80, of Northwood, OH, passed away March 27, 2022, after winning a 6 month battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Janet was born June 14, 1941 in Vinton, OH, to Denver and Iris (McGuire) Smith. She was employed with the Perrysburg Academy of the Performing Arts for more than 24 years.
In addition to her parents, Janet was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert E. Smith and her brother, Denver "Vernel" Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Steven) Leffler and Robin (Jeff Keil) Cole; Son, John (Kay) Laugerman, Jr.; step-children, Kimberly (Brad) Samuelson and Douglas B. Smith; brother, Richard L. Smith; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial for Janet will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Living Hospice in Janet's memory.
