Bethany Mae Reinhart, age 88, of Toledo, passed away March 7, 2022. She was born May 10, 1933 in Reading Township, MI to Charles and Cleo (Arch) Regal.
Bethany's grandpa began taking her to church at a very young age. She writes that she would "preach and sing and was very charismatic." At 43 she accepted Christ. She began various ministries which included a bus ministry, Share The Loaf, and womens' ministries. She attended Calvary Bible Temple for several years where she was a favorite soloist and had several other ministries.
You can't reminisce about Bethany without remembering how she loved her dogs. Bethany's dogs (in succession) Angel, Miracle and Melody (surviving), who is mourning her loss, were the loves of her life.
Bethany always enjoyed writing. In 2013 she published a book of poems. Other favorite memories from the writings she left behind: feeding their chickens with her father and gathering eggs with her mother; tap dancing while her father played piano; wearing a lace curtain as a wedding dress and veil while playing wedding with her playmates, writing, "Daddy was always my bride groom for he was my hero."
"I will treasure always those splendid days of make believe weddings, Heidi in the mountains, a sandbox with a striped canopy….where skies always seemed to be blue and clouds were as fluffy as cotton balls."
Bethany's passing is mourned by her husband, William Reinhart; children Becki (Terry) and Mark (Lori), step-son Tim (Lori) and her tiny poodle Melody, grand children Tiffany, Shannon and Josh (deceased), Lindsey and Justin. She leaves behind several great grandchildren including Sierra, Hayleigh and Gabriella and great -great grandchildren Aria, Micah and Nova.
