Robert Westfall Jr.

Robert "Bert" Westfall Jr., age 62, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital in Toledo. He was born on January 7, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Carolyn (Kmiec) Westfall Sr.
A graduate of Rogers High School he had worked for BFI/Stericycle, since 1986. He was a union steward for Teamsters Local 20 and had enjoyed watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings. Bert liked to go watch the Toledo Walleye and playing Euchre with friends and family. He liked his Ford cars, scraping and collecting, but most of all, enjoyed and cherished the time spent with his family and friends, but most importantly, his son and daughter. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his two children, Ciara (Jerry) Turner and Robert (Natalee) Westfall III; father, Robert Westfall Sr.; siblings, Ronald Westfall, Russell Westfall, Rhonda (Dave) Miller, Raquel (Tim) Kelsey; children's mother and long-time friend, Pamela (Barry) Koppert; grand-puppies, Penny, Piper, Bella, and Louie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bert was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Westfall; his dog, Reecy; and numerous loved ones that will never be forgotten.
Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm, where a celebration of Bert's life will take place at 7:00 pm. Please come with memories to share with loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lucas County Humane Society.
