Gerald L. Tillman, Jr.

Gerald L. "Jerry" Tillman, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1950 in Toledo to the late Gerald and Patsy (Campbell) Tillman. On September 30, 1984 he married his "rock" Patricia Tillman who survives in Toledo.
Jerry is also survived by 2 children, Liz (Chris) Hardman and Jacob Tillman, both of Georgia; 3 grandchildren; 4 siblings, Pam (Tom) Reau, Ron, (Patty) Tillman, Christie (Marty) Walker and Keith (Sarah) Tillman.
Jerry was a St. Francis de Sales High School 1968 graduate. He retired from Toledo Edison after 25 years. After retirement, he was a "Handyman" for Toledo New Bath and anyone who was in need of his help. Jerry was a member of St. Pius X Parish and was awarded the distinction of "Company of Fellows" by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).
Jerry was a very avid and competitive golfer during which he scored 2 "Holes in One". He managed the RVGC Golf League for many years and was always looking forward to the next 18 holes.
The family will receive guests on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Parish, 2950 Ilger Ave., Toledo, OH 43606 with Memorial Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the church.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
