Virginia (Jenny) Miller or to some known as "Nin", age 60, lived in Holland, Ohio. Sadly she passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at St. Lukes Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 26, 1961, to the late Lewis and Eulalia (McDermott) Staton.
A woman of deep faith, she was very involved in the church and loved teaching and bringing people to know the love of the Lord. She attended The Dwelling Place, where she was part of the worship team, assisted with the food pantry and taught Sunday school. Nin was a part of numerous outreach programs in the community as well.
Jenny "Nin" worked as a barber/hair stylist for many years and loved bringing joy to everyone around her. She also enjoyed cooking, which included making tacos and enchiladas. Jenny also enjoyed crafts, dancing, sunflowers, playing various instruments, such as the keyboard and drums, and shopping (she was an avid Walmart shopper). She was such a very giving, caring, and selfless woman.
She was a very family-oriented woman; she had a special bond with her nieces and nephews. Nin was a wonderful wife, sister, step-mom, grandma, aunt and cousin, and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Richard "Rick" Miller, whom she married on January 8, 1993; siblings, Judith Fields, Tina Shields, Tim (Jole) Staton, and John (Cindy) Staton; step-children, Greg, Starlena, and Shannon (Dave); and numerous cousins, especially Marsha Durham who was always by her side. Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Staton.
