Karen K. (Keck) Weller

Karen K. (Keck) Weller, age 70, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born July 10, 1951 along with her twin sister Sharon, in Toledo to Clarence and Hazel (VanHorn) Keck. Karen grew up in Sylvania, Ohio. She worked several years as beautician and later as an optician. Karen was a free spirit, loved meeting people and was a world traveler. She lived in several places, from the Philippines to Florida, from the Leelanau Peninsula in Northern Michigan to the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. Karen enjoyed hunting and fishing while traveling, and was also an avid painter. Her smile and free spirit will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Keck; brother, Edward Keck and sister, Betty Majot. Karen is survived by her son, Jason (Chrissy) Monica; siblings, Ronald (Donna) Keck, Richard Keck, Shirley Staniszewski, Larry (Susan) Keck, Vickie (Dean) McCollum, and Rickie (Karen) Keck; 15 nieces and nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation for Karen at this time and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, Toledo (419-381-1900).
