Here it turns out, Kenneth "KT" Taylor, age 55, of Toledo, Ohio, has gone home to his Lord Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was born October 12, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Georgia (Quinn) Taylor, Jr. Ken was a truck driver for over 30 years, recently with Star Cartage and prior to that with Soul Road. He attended Woodward High School, class of 1983.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a caring man who loved to spend time with family and friends enjoying life and stories of all kinds. Family Game Night gatherings and playing 10,000 with friends were activities that he loved. He had a wicked sense of humor. He lit up a room when he walked in and those around him knew it would turn into a fun and lively event.
Ken enjoyed attending wild game dinners held in Swanton. He was a member of the Big Bucks Club and also supported the Old Newsboys organization fundraising drives. Ken was also an honorary member of Am Vets #222.
In addition to his parents, Ken was proceeded in death by his great nephew, Jose Romero III and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his siblings, David (Stephanie) Taylor, Timothy (Arlene) Taylor, George Taylor, Joan Taylor, Jean Taylor, Diane Taylor, Dennis (Rodney Muehlfeld) Taylor and Sheryl (Frank) Hammond; nieces & nephews, Lisa Crane, Rikitana Taylor, Alexandria Gonzalez, Shiloh (Johnny) Burke, Jose Romero II, Justin Romero, and Bryce Hammond; 21 great nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Craig Hansen, Jason Ruffier, Todd Williams, Jon Inman, Doug Snethen, and Rancey Papenfuse.
The family will receive guests Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Newcomer, Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, Ohio (419-473-0300). A Sharing of Memories will begin Thursday at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
