John C. Kunz

John C. Kunz, age 51, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 31, 2019 at home. He was born June 10, 1967 to John Sr. and Patricia (Garus) Kunz in Toledo. John was a big jokester, enjoyed riding his Harley and glass blowing. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. John liked hunting, fishing and shooting. He had owned and operated The Lawn Mower Shop, on Arlington Ave. for many years. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his loving wife, Karen Baird; children, Jennifer (Josh) Huber, Michelle (JP) Morrison and Marcus (Megan) Kunz; step-children, AJ Rosinski, Isaiah Baird, Nicholas Baird and Amber Rosinski; grandchildren, Natalie, Abigail, Noah, Caleb and Natasha; mother, Patricia Kunz, sister, Barbara (Karen) Woznicki; nephews, Danny and Eddie; niece, Kalyn; mother-in-law, Darlene Baird; father-in-law, William Baird; brother-in-law, William Karcsak, Jr.; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
