Melissa D. Goodluck, age 55, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, January 25, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, with her loving twin daughters by her side. She was born November 22, 1963 to James and Susan (Daves) Tipton in Dickson, Tennessee. Melissa enjoyed cooking, remodeling homes and self-projects for friends and family and was a people person; she never met a stranger. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Melissa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Melissa is survived by her husband, Fred Goodluck; loving children, Charles Goodluck, Shawn "Shawny Rivers aka Rollies" Goodluck, Rachal (Todd) Hamilton and Renae (Bradley) Miranda; grandchildren, Bella, Logan, Greyson, Torren "Pumpkin Butt", Taylen, Tenley and Braelynn "Brae Brae"; brothers, James "Robbie" and John "Rusty" Tipton; sisters, Linda (Jack) Propps and Glenda "Cricket" (Russell) Spain; longtime best friend, Calvin Jenkins; special niece, Tiffany (Josh) Hannigan; and many other nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive guests on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Hill. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
