Adrian W. Fuller

Adrian W. Fuller, age 74, passed away on January 18, 2019. He was born on November 2, 1944 in Tremadog, Wales to the late Betty and Harold Fuller.
Adrian was instrumental in bringing soccer to the Toledo area. Beginning in 1986 where he formed the Spirit of Toledo Soccer Club and later The Toledo Rangers. Both clubs were formed in the spirit of spreading his love for the sport and giving all young athletes the opportunity to compete. Adrian also loved Rugby, where he exceled as a young man. He graduated from Letchworth Technical College with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1975 and spent much of his professional life working abroad in countries such as Oman, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Indonesia. In 1982 he and his family settled in the Toledo area with Owens Corning and later Master Chemical Corporation where he would spend 25 years. In addition to his family, Soccer and Rugby – Adrian's other love was his beloved Buckeyes.
Adrian is survived by his children, Robert (Lynn) Fuller, James (Valerie) Fuller, Rebecca (Ryan) Johnson, David Fuller, Richard (Monika) Fuller; grandchildren, Richard (Hannah), Steven (Amanda), Ruthanne, Jeremy, Izabella, Owyn; great-granddaughter on-the-way, Evelyn; brother, William (Catherine) Fuller; nephews, Dominic, Scott and Ross; nieces Beth and Charlotte; sisters Helen and Carol and many other beloved family members in England and Wales.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
