Linda Reineke

After a 7 month health struggle, Linda Lovejoy Reineke passed away on Wednesday, January 9th at Spring Meadows Nursing home in Holland, Ohio. Linda was born on April 23, 1944 to Evelyn (Oaks) and Milton Lovejoy. She met the love of her life, James Reineke, at Wamplers Lake in 1964 and they were married on May 1, 1965.

Linda graduated from Maumee High in 1962 and retired from St Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio after 28 years of service. Linda was an excellent seamstress, always sewing special gifts for family and friends. She and her husband Jim had a special love for dogs and over the years had 6 Labs that were their special children.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Milton Lovejoy. Left to love and remember Linda is her husband of 53 years, James Reineke; brothers Stephen (Kathy) and Thomas (Pam) Lovejoy; sisters-in-law Mary (Bud) Schuldt and Janice (John) Zachman. In addition there were many nieces and nephews who Linda doted on and they lovingly called her 'Aunt Dinny'.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 1-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Gardens.
