Charles Edmund Miller, age 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jan. 1, 2019. He was born November 23, 1939 in Loudon Co., Tennessee. Charles served 9 years in the Tennessee National Guard. He worked as a meat cutter and meat dept. manager for 46 years. Charles was a born again Christian for over 60 years, served as the Lord led, always willing to share the gospel. He served the last 13 years at MRBC. Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded by his parents, Samuel and Lucinda Miller; sisters, Mildred, Audrey, and Dealia; and brothers, Robert, Martin, and Bill. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Mary Ruth; daughter, Pam (Mike) Toney; sons, Robert (Traci) Miller and David (Vicki) Miller; grandchildren, Michael and Lacey Toney, Chastity and Adam Allard; Mary Olivia, Alex and Elisha Miller, David Charles, Katlyn, Corey and Alisha Miller; great-grandchildren, Caydn and Braylie Toney.
The family will receive guests on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 3 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment and Graveside Services will take place Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Township Cemetery, in the New Section.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Monclova Road Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
