Bobbi Jo (Clark) Barboza, age 48, of Toledo, passed away on December 23, 2018. Bobbi Jo was born March 31, 1970 in Canton, Ohio to John Clark and Lana (Cline) Gopp.
She attended and graduated from Start High school in 1988; where she enjoyed being a member of the marching band and flag corp. Following high school she attended Stautzenberger and acquired her Associates Degree in Medical Transcription.
She met and married Robert Lewis Barboza II and together they raised two beautiful children. Bobbi Jo loved her children and made them her life. Along with her big sister she became a tradition breaker and was the second in her family to attend college; as she encouraged her children. She enjoyed animals and would take in rescues; with a love for the most recent two Jypsie, Louie and her Grand dog Doobie. Bobbi Jo loved her family and friends and was always there to help anyone.
In addition to her parents, Bobbi Jo was also preceded in death by her best friend (ex-husband) Robert. She will be greatly missed by her Children, Angelica Barboza, Joseph (Samantha) Barboza, Joshua (Melissa) Gopp, Jonathan Smelser; Dad, Mel (Sue) Gopp; Sisters, Mindy (Andy) Hartman, Stella Cline, Tammi (Chris) White; Brother, Clayton Gopp, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 02, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623 (419) 473-0300.
