Richard L. Gore

Richard L. Gore, age 77, of Wauseon, OH passed away November 28, 2018 at his home. He was born October 22, 1941 in Toledo to Merle and Frances (Wertz) Gore. Richard served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with General Motors for more than 37 years, and a proud member of the UAW Local 14. Richard enjoyed his Lionel Trains and boating with his wife, Patricia on Lake Erie.

Richard is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia R. Gore; sons, Martin (Shelly), Rick (Rebecca), Steven and Jerry (Tiffany) Gore; Cole, Kaylin, Kylee (Tanner), Hunter, Jamie, Dylan, Cody, Timothy, Lindsey (Matt), Allison (Joe); great-grandchildren, Kadence, Hailee, Jayden and Ella Gore. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his grandson, Elijah Gore.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Richard will be entombed at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospitals in Richard's memory.
