James Alan Reynolds, age 67, of Oregon, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born June 17, 1951 in Toledo to James and Jean (Orange) Reynolds. Alan was employed with the Mondelez, formerly Nabisco for more than 45 years retiring in June 2013. Alan enjoyed being outdoors with his canine companion, "Emily," but most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Alan is survived by his daughters, Julie (Bill) Moffitt, Jennifer (Rob) Herman and Samantha (Matthew Puckett) Ireland; mother, Jean Reynolds; grandchildren, Billy, Annabelle and Brandon Moffitt, Alyssa and Carter Herman and Savanna Puckett; siblings, Deborah (Dick) Lashley, Mike (Sally) Reynolds and Dave (Karen) Reynolds; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Alan was preceded in death by his father, James Reynolds.
The family will receive guests Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.
