Thomas H. Ward

Thomas H. Ward, age 78, of Toledo, passed away June 17, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born October 26, 1939 in Toledo to John and Helen (Muswick) Ward. Tom was employed as a printer with Owens Corning Fiberglass for more than 34 years retiring in 1994. He was an avid baseball fan especially the New York Yankees. Tom also enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball, John Wayne Movies, his dogs, bowling and NASCAR.

Tom is survived by his children, Matthew (Peggy) Ward, Becky (Mike) Casteels and Jonathan (Melissa) Ward; grandchildren, Amber (Scott) Kralovic, Aaron Ward, Michael Casteels, Jr., Nathan Ward, Patrick Casteels and Jonathan G. Ward; great-grandchildren, Jordyn Jack and Karmyn Kralovic. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wives, Nancy and Janet Ward; and siblings, Shirley, William and Jack.

The family will receive guests Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or The Toledo Area Humane Society in Tom's memory.
