Deborah L. "Debbie" Tobin, age 61, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Toledo, where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 23, 1957 to Joel J. and Evelyn (Howard) Thompson in Toledo. Debbie was a graduate of Woodward High School and worked as a legal secretary nearly 40 years for Jeffrey D. Levy, Esq. When she wasn't working she enjoyed being with her family and friends and her favorite hobby was keeping the casino's in business, especially the slot machines! She was a great shopper - always looked for a deal and she will be remembered as a devoted wife, step-mom, sister, grandma, aunt and great-aunt.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 27 years, Ray "Pop-i" Tobin; step-daughters, Crissy Fuller and Lori (Josh) Tooley; siblings, Sherry (John) Burks, Chuck (Patti) Thompson and Pam (Chuck) Neumeyer; 5 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Vickie, Alie, Joey, Connor, Jeffrey, Brandon, Makkenzie, Emma Rose and Bailey; many friends, including Suzanne Rink and Digby Family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her nephew, Joshua Neumeyer.
The family will receive guests on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
