After a sudden illness, Nicholas P. "Nick" Weber, Sr., age 62, of Toledo, passed away on Monday morning, April 2, 2018 at Toledo Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on July 13, 1955 to Dick and Mary Pauline (Guminie) Weber in Toledo. Nick was an avid sports fan, always rooting for his favorite teams, OSU, KC Chiefs and Northwestern U. He was a NASCAR fanatic, always following the races and the drivers especially Kyle Busch and Rusty Wallace. He spent 23 years in the infield at MIS, enjoying the races and making MANY great friends. In his younger years he raced at OakShade with his Dad and two brothers-in-law. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them, especially the grandkids and great-granddaughter. Nick kept the Miller Brewing Company in business. IN HIS MEMORY HAVE ONE FOR HIM!
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Jeannette (Manders) Weber; children, Brian (Michelle) Weber, Brenda (Chuck) Wood and Nick, Jr. (Lori) Weber; grandchildren, Alexandra, Brittany, Zachary, Austin, Abigail, Cody, Hannah, Kylie and Lillian; great-granddaughter, Aubrie; siblings, Dick, Deb, Linda, Pam and Ricky and many other friends and relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandson, Cole; sister-in-law, Cheryl Weber and brother-in-law, Larry.
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). His Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
