Marlene Ann Stewart

Marlene Stewart, age 83, passed away on December 13, 2017. She was born on June 6, 1934 to the late Pansy and Harvey Renner in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Marlene retired from Toledo Public Schools in 1997 after 25 years as a Cafeteria Manager. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Glendale Presbyterian for over 30 years. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother for 14 years. Marlene enjoyed gardening (especially roses), knitting, ceramics, collecting angels and making jewelry. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
Marlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard and siblings, Betty, James, Deanna and George. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard (Rebecca), Dennis (Rebecca), Kenny (Cathy) and Thomas; brother, John; grandchildren, Scott, Tim, Mitchell (Sarah), Heather, Justen, Emily (Matthew), David, Christopher and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Michayla and Xaviar.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Glendale Presbyterian Church, 4609 Glendale Avenue. Family and friends may visit from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Marlene's memory.
