Julius A. Wadas-Keogh, age 73, beloved son, brother, and uncle, returned home to Our Lord on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 after struggling with multiple health issues.
Julius was born to Julius and Beatrice (Topolewski) Wadas, Sr. on April 17, 1944 in Toledo.
In 1951, Julius, his mother and stepfather, Thomas L. Keogh, II, moved to Point Place, where he spent a happy childhood, helping to raise his sister and two brothers. Many memories were made by the entire family traveling. For many years, Julius worked for Lott Industries and maintained his own apartment with the help of his good friend, Mrs. Rose Duren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Terry Keogh; brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Keogh, III and Tim Keogh and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of his Mass of Christian Burial at Noon in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 420 Sandusky St., Toledo, OH 43611 with Fr. David Cirata officiating. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
