Kevin E. Clayton, 57, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2017. He was born on June 17, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio and was a graduate of Whitmer High School. Kevin worked mainly in the construction trades and his job gave him the opportunity to travel throughout the country; west to Hawaii, east to Georgia and states in between. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, Lynyrd Skynyrd music buff and a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and San Francisco 49ers. Kevin will be remembered for his good-natured personality, friendly smile and love of cold beer and a good card game.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Kim Pytlarz; mother, Patti Clayton; sister, Sherri (Phil) Miller; nephew, Philip (Katy) Miller; step-children, Amy Heath and Brad Pytlarz; canine companion, Bella; and many other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey "Gene" Clayton. Kevin will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 1 – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Memorial Service and Celebration of Kevin's life at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
