Doris E. Germain

Doris E. Germain, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio passed away November 14, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born March 23, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to Bushnell and Cordelia (Ridgeway) Topping. Doris graduated from Woodward High School in 1947 and attended Davis Business College. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and member of the church choir. Doris also sang with the Eileen Stacy Singers for 25 years and enjoyed playing euchre with her friends.

Doris is survived by her children, Doreen Evick, Carl Germain, III, Diane (Warren) Kowalka, Bruce (Trish) Germain and Keith (Donna) Germain; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Germain; and grandson, Christopher Germain.

The family will receive guests Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
